Estimated Wait time is a joke

It always says something like "1:35" or a relatively short time, but then i end up waiting nearly 10 minutes to get a match! By the time i've given up and think i have enough time to grab a drink since hell, not like the queue wait will be over anytime soon, i miss the AFK check and have to start it all over again! I know i'm not the only one this happens to because right when i gets accepted i say something to my team like "Anyone else wait a super long time?" and then someone makes a joke about how "This is just like teambuilder queue's".

Then you have to wait for everyone to ban, then lock in at the last second, then the loading screen for the game, then because games are over so quickly now it's as if i waited just as long to get in the game as i did playing in it!

I can go on and on complaining about this. But it really just speaks for how slow everything is for no reward.

Like just now i waited 10 minutes in queue, got up to get a drink, came back not even 10 seconds later and had missed the queue. So i tried again and 3 times in a row the queue connection timed out, or i disconnected from pvp.net cause that just happens constantly since preseason 6. Finally got in and someone said they waited 18 minutes to get into this game, and my Poppy got banned.

If i'm going to wait this long just to have what i want to play be banned then just bring back teambuilder queue. Let me wait 20 minutes for a game if i can atleast play my champ.

estimated wait time is pretty accurate. every single time i get into champion select within 30 seconds of the estimated time, which is usually 1:40

I find the same. I really get a game within a couple of minutes of the estimated wait time.

On occassion it has given me a game relatively near the time, then somebody doesn't pass the afk check and then the wait time is enormous! Surely I would be the next person in queue (I main support and it's always listed as my primary). This seems odd.

I would much prefer a realistic estimated wait time, even if it said 15 minutes. That said, if it said 10 or 15 minutes I wouldn't wait and then play something else... Is this the plan?

i waited just now 25 minutes for a game and couldn't get on because my computer's time ran out (timer for computer hours) it said estimated wait time 1:26 minutes!!!

mine says 0:17 and im reaching the 10 minute mark ;-;[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
