Gnar needs a buff!

According to champion.gg, Gnar has a low winrate of 45% since the recent patches. Riot says his job is to bully tanks but tanks are even overpowering him currently. I think a change from magic damage to true damage on his third auto with adjusted numbers should make him viable again. Other champions that have similar skills with ramp-up time, such as Vayne or Camille, already have true damage in their kit. Seems like I'm the only one that cares about this champion..

They nerfed him for worlds because of how dominant he can be.

I honestly think he could be balanced in a stronger state if he had a resource to manage (health? Idk).

As it is, he's not healthy because he can stay at range and poke in small form with a getaway in case of emergency and he gets hella buff and hard to fight in mega form so there's little window to actually kill him unless he's an idiot.

Imo an actual resource management of some sort would allow for buffs.

Basically this. Gnar is [was?] in a case, similar to how Yasuo currently is, where the only way to actually kill/deal with them, is to hope they make a mistake (and you actually catch it in time). Of course, in my opinion, Yasuo is a bit more manageable than Gnar, in this case. I'd much rather fight a Yasuo Top Lane, than a Gnar Top Lane. At the very least, I can TRY [emphasis on 'Try'] to duel Yasuo if he comes onto me. Gnar never gets close enough to duel (in small form) and when he does come into dueling range, he erases all availability to move and/or fight him. Or he escapes me with that 'hop' of his, in his small form, and continues kiting.
