Elo hell

I thought the ranking system is supposed to relate to your skill level. But instead it's whoever doesn't get the troll or the afk or the bad players. We're playing a game where one person can ruin a game for the rest. So why does riot ignore this? Why does riot base lp gain off of loss/wins? Shouldn't it account for almost everything else as well to actually represent your skill. I can continue but I know riot employees don't grasp the concept of elo hell or the ranking system and just look over this post

Elo hell doesn't exist. You could give you account to a booster and they'd have no issue getting you to diamond in a couple weeks. Furthermore, people do unranked to diamond series all the time and they have no issue getting to diamond within a few hundred games. If all these people have no issue climbing then why do you?

Riot doesn't base LP off stats because then everyone would try to min/max in the game and screw over their allies if they thought it would improve their score.

First of all, riot cam account much more than just score for lp. Secondly. They don't get as many trolls and afks and bad players as I do. Every game I play I at least get 1 trolls and 2 bad players. Every game. As I win lane and destroy them fighting. Then they refuse to help teamfighting . or they continue going in alone and dying for the entire duration of the game. You don't get it. After you get a troll and bad players for 100 games straight you'll understand.

You honestly don't think I don't get trolls, feeders, ragers and AFKers? I'm in the same elo as you. The difference is that I accept that I deserve to be in silver elo. Even though I win lane nearly all the time, even though my KDA is much higher than the average player, even though I ward more and get more CS and I use the same runes/masteries as the pros I am not so delusional to believe that the "system is against me." Yes I am better than the "average" silver player but at the end of the day if I can't hard carry my games then I don't deserve to win. Watch any high level streamer doing an unranked to diamond series. They get trolls and feeders all the time. They still climb. Stop making excuses.

Looking at your stats you don't hard carry the games you lose so you deserve to lose. Your damage is low. Your CS needs improvement. Your kill participation is low. You don't place or buy enough wards. In every way you COULD be better. The same is true for me as well. There is so much room for improvement for both of us. Using your team as a scapegoat limits your ability to see your own mistakes and IMPROVE. Seriously, watch high level streamers. They barely ever blame their team and they always talk about all the mistakes they make and how bad they are at the game (even though they are diamond-challenger.) That's why they are high elo, they take responsibility for their mistakes and they are always looking for ways they can improve rather than ways they can put the blame on others.

Just knowing that your LP gains/losses are impacted by "something" other than winning/losing will cause players to min/max. It doesn't matter what factors Riot takes into account. The players will still change their play style to min/max their stats in an attempt to get more LP.

Funny, cause I had no troubles getting out of b5. Sure, when I first got to lvl 30, b5 seeming like the only place I would ever get to; however, when I gave ranked a rest, and got gud, I came back and am on a 10ish game winstreak.

in my placement matches, I got an intentional feeder 1 game, the very next game a afk (unable to remake)

Am I having trouble ranking up HELL YEAH but I can say with a Straight face that I'm not a god but my team holds me back NO! lol
The thing that bothers me the most would be

You have 100LP in silver 3 and you go into the promo and lose 2 out of 3 and now you have 60-70 LP You have 100LP in silver 3 and you go into the promo and WIN 2 ouf of 3 and go back to 0LP So its 1 step forward and 2-3 steps back THAT IS THE ONLY THING I DISLIKE ABOUT THE RANKING SYSTEM.

There will always be a weaker or worse player in Solo Q or in the LCS etc that can cost their team a win. Dyrus wasn't the best Top during his final splits on TSM. So when they would lose games he would be the reason behind it so there will always be a weak link in every chain at every elo.

The same point that Randomonium said if Kills-Assists-Deaths-Cs and/or how many Towers/Dragons are secured everyone will just play out the game and have an agreement not to fight each other as it will be benefit each party and just farm for 50 mins and each team gets dragon after another so each team and player will have 5 dragons and then fight.

Do I somewhat see the logic behind not just Wins and loses YES. I don't like that logic because I'v been Silver 3 last year when Ranked ended and the next year won 7 out of 10 placement games with a KDA of 3X something would buy and ward the map with 4-5 pinks a Game instead of getting another item so I can help my team and not just myself. Would get 1.75 Towers within a 10 game span and ended up in B5 after the 10 games. I would have friends tho that haven't played ranked in over a year and the year they stopped they were B4 win only 2 of their games with ZERO Pinks bought and a KDA of 1.X something and get placed S2.

The thing that I think factors in to the placement games is CS anyone can play Akali Katarina Leblanc and get 50 kills its not hard but the cs per min and the overall cs per game is what I think factors into getting high up your placement games.
