If you are sitting at 0 Lp, i think the game should tell you whether you are 1 loss away from demotion at least. I know it is based on different matchmaking in each game, but we should at least be given a general idea.

I think this would just induce more pressure and lead people to saying things in champ select like "I'll be demoted if I lose this game so you guys better not mess this up for me." It already gets said when people are in promos or are already in a losing streak, so this will just amplify that.

What makes it different from claiming you're one win away from winning your series to advance?
I've seen plenty of people bring that up as an incentive to make their allies play at 110%.

I think it would cause more toxicity probably, but I disagree that it'd cause more stress. As someone who spent an extended period at 0 LP in Silver 1 recently, I was stressed about playing new games because I had no idea what to expect to happen if I lost another one. The uncertainty is worse IMO.

RogueWill1 votesIs always 3 times (assuming you were losing less than 20lp per game) for a tier and 10 for adivision. if you start losing more than 20lp per game then start to worry since it will become less than 3

ltmetal1 votesAs much as I would like to see this, it will never be implemented. One of the reasons tiers were implemented is because of "ladder anxiety," and players get too anxious to try when they are worried of losing ranking.

Every rank game, you should aim to win; otherwise you are more likely to fail and lose the game. Personally, if I knew I would get demoted in my next game or 2, I would be a lot more pressured to win that game, which would change how I would normally play and affect my play style in that game.

No. Toxic players will find reasons to be toxic regardless, players typically try to win games most of the time anyway, especially when they are at 0 lp. But it would help the people who would like to know where they stand as far as demotion goes, the same way it feels better to know when you're going to get promoted. While on adding clarity and information, can Riot PLEASE tell us our ping while in client, rather than having a surprise when we are committed and already loading. One game out of promotion series last night and our team is down a member for the first 25 minutes because our Katarina had 1500 ping. Might have lost anyway but it would be nice to at least have a full team for the majority of the game.
