Garen needs to be buffed

Firstly, English isn't my first language so plz don't mind poor grammer.

In skill description, Garen's Q(Decisive strike) cooling time as 8 sec which is not true. When u press Q movement speed increased 30% for 1.5/2/2.5/3/3.5sec per level and the skill isn't cooling during movement speed increased. So the Decisive strike "real" cooling time becomes 9.5/10/10.5/11/11.5 per level which make Garen as crap champ. Even TF's gold card can makes Garen never reach to him. I've tested this; actual Garen Q cooling time is way longer than described, Chasing TF was impossible at all. I don't know why balance team never care about this, if the cooling time is their intention, Just Erase the champ there is no reason to pick this champ at all. the motion of Q is too huge and slow, anyone over gold ranked can use flash before Silence. You removed cc reduction from Garen's W that was suck too(I don't understand why nrfed this).

And also it is known that Darius and Garen designed to be rival, actually designed to be "Counter" not rival. There is nothing better reason to pick Garen than Darius. Darius is much more stronger in both lane and team fight even split push. Renga vs Khazix or Jax vs irelia can be fair enough but Garen vs Darius is worst balance ever seen in my life. Even silver Darius can beat Plat Garen easy.

For balance team, If you are not planning to remove Garen from league of lengend you need to understand pros and cons of the champ and I guarantee that your team is not understanding at all what makes Garen sucks. At least, fix the ult bug.

Fix the Q cooling time and stupid slow motion
rollback the cc decrease from W
Give some advantages against Darius.
Or just Erase the champ Work harder plz riot

His Q cooldown only starts after he hits someone with it or runs til the duration wears off. That's intended since he's not the only one with a cooldown type like that.

if the cooling time is their intention, Just Erase the champ there is no reason to pick this champ at all.

Words like this are typically why people can just come here, downvote without reading & move on. This is not a "legit" argument at all.

You removed cc reduction from Garen's W that was suck too(I don't understand why nrfed this).

He was also compensated for getting bonus Armor & MR with every enemy units he kills. Plus, he has way enough defensive stats with his W damage reduction & passive healing, there's no need to exaggerate in getting him a 3rd defensive stat like Tenacity.

And also it is known that Darius and Garen designed to be rival, actually designed to be "Counter" not rival.

Tryndamere 's rival is Aatrox , but the latter one is in one hell of shit-tier compared to Tryn. Volibear Zilean are rivals, and both are't even on the same attributes. Sion Galio are also rivals, but I see 0 games concerning their rivalry.

But what my point means is that, just because there's a rivalry, does not mean both has to be on the same power spike as much as possible. Tbh, even a good Garen player can win lane against a Darius with good timing.

For balance team, If you are not planning to remove Garen from league of lengend you need to understand pros and cons of the champ and I guarantee that your team is not understanding at all what makes Garen sucks.

Man, you're just making your thread losing more credibility with that "solution" of yours. You do know Garen is still one of the best top lane champion in beating the likes of Sion Riven Illaoi Nasus Renekton Rengar Yasuo

Garen really doesn't need a buff. He might need a power adjustment to move power between different parts of his kit, but a straight up buff? No.

Garren is acctually in a good place right now with a 52% win rate.

For a top champion he is above average in: Kills Gold earned Win rate Damage taken

Bellow average: Assits Damage dealt

So i think i shouldn't go further than this...

I think garen is a bit to much a of a bully vs other non tank champions. If anything they could remove the slow removal on q, since it's just a free win ability, and add some true damage to his basic attacks vs the vallian. Also lower his base armor.
