Can we talk about Nidalee?

There was a lot of time and effort put into the Nidalee rework, which is why I'm extremely unsatisfied with the current state of her. The recent heavy-handed nerfing was supposed to make her want to build Bruiser-AP instead of the popular AD build, but the problem is that AP Nidalee just doesn't work anymore- and that was by design. Landing a long range spear with the current spear hitbox is very difficult, and the damage it does is simply not worth the effort. Landing a short range spear and using her Hunt proc to enter melee range is borderline suicidal on a target that will not die to a single Takedown, which is basically NO ONE since Takedown's ratios were gutted. Her pounce reset does not even fully reset the cooldown of pounce, which means once Nidalee goes in, she's in, and she doesn't have the tools to fight in Cougar form anymore.

Riot, please fix Nidalee. Right now she's a poor split pusher, a poor teamfighter, and even a poor poke champion because she has no way to finish a target. Currently to do any damage you must land max range spears, then hope you can close the distance somehow without your enemy simply leaving. I don't know what Nidalee is even supposed to be right now. I can't find any combination of runes or masteries or items that make Nidalee a good champion right now. She can't bully a lane anymore. If you land a spear in lane, you can't go in for her cougar combo because you will lose the trade! She can't even use her hunt procs!

I really loved the Nidalee rework because it brought AD Nidalee- the fun Cougar form Nidalee from before you made her into a spear bot- back into the game. Why did you remove AD Nidalee without making AP Nidalee viable? I am not saying AD Nidalee was perfectly balanced, she did need a nerf, but when I look at say, Tristana's nerf and what you did to Nidalee, it doesn't even seem fair.

I don't care how you fix it but don't leave her like this Riot.
