Malzahar

As a Malzahar main, I would love to see my favorite champion be a little more viable in the competitive scene. I think a fair and easy way to achieve this would be to add a passive to Malzahar's E which states "Whenever Malzahar has a voidling active, his mana regeneration is increased by X amount". This is a very simple and, in my mind, balanced change that I would love to see on Malzahar. The reason I even say this is because, sure, Malzahar can do damage, but he is extremely resource heavy and is also very vulnerable until he gets his ult and even then, qss makes life even harder for him. That's why I think increasing his sustain very slightly can make him live up to his potential as a champion. His E makes it easier to stay in lane, but when you're running out of mana after a few abilities at full build, it makes it a little bit more difficult to be of much use. Rito plz Malzahar

He is actually still very strong, but compare to other competitive AP mids like Syndra , he does not have any mobility & a CC to disengage the enemy team, or a CC that stops people from chasing you down. And his ult is a self-root ability, causing you to be a valuable target by the enemy team to kill.

I don't think he needs buffs, other things just need nerfs.

What makes you say he's not very viable in competitive games?

I would agree with this proposal. He needs changes like this to make him relevant. He is only good in solo q but garbage in competitive play.
