Help me understand MMR and LP

My goal this season is to reach plat 5. Something ive found to be very difficult. I flew up to gold 3 80 lP with little difficulty. At this point i was earning 20 LP a win and losing 18 on a loss. After reaching this peak i had a period of 15 games or so where i would only win 2 games per 3 loses. Understandably my MMR decreased and i started only getting 17 LP a win but losing 20 on a loss. After getting demoted to gold 4 30 LP i pulled this massive winstreak (see image). That was 1 loss (in promos) to 7 wins. This win streak got me promoted to gold 3 34 LP, however when i got there i continued to only get 17 LP a win and lose 19 on a loss. Since that point ive won and lost a few games. Can somebody tell me how i can restore my MMR, im tired of coming out negative for going even.

I'm not too sure I mean the mmr system is so bad.

Anyways good luck with your climb to platinum!

Its pretty straightforward, you have to win more than you lose. Currently your MMR is lower than your division. You won't be able to climb if you're Gold 3 with Gold 5 MMR. That makes perfect sense. If you're barely hanging on to a 50% win rate at Gold 5 MMR, why would it make sense for the system to bump you up to Gold 2?

Guide to Fully Understanding ELO, LP, and MMR

In the situation you are in basically your visible division based rating is a decent amount ahead of your MMR - generally when they're balanced you'll earn around 25 points a win. The only way to fix this is to either dodge promos (which doesn't cost you any MMR but drops your division rating) until they're balanced, or just keep winning until it eventually catches up. It's a long process sadly and win/loss streaks are what throw it off.
