Variety Sight Stones Please

I think there should be different types of item 2049s that give you different things like how there are different jungle items that give different things some could give AP some AD and so on. Comment your ideas and thoughts on this. I think it would open many new opportunities for supports and would make sightstones a more appealing item for supports to buy allowing teams more vision and the support some more damage. Because this would give quite an advantage maybe reduce the ward charge amount to 3 and you can buy something like item 2045 to get 4 instead. PLEASE!!!

I think sightstone should just be deleted. Place wards on the gold income items. Tier 1 gold item has 1 ward charge, Tier 2 has 2 and full build has 4. Opens a slot for supports to buy a better second item and this would eliminate the sightstone jungler build. they would have to buy regular wards instead.

I sort of actually agree and I mained support for a very, very long time.

Sightstone kinda ruins the whole difficulty of support and it always gives way to supports who want to buy AP/AD items and can be really annoying and harmful in lane. One of the primary roles of support is to ward and keep vision and clear.

Though it also gives others a reason to be lazy and not buy or place wards despite it's also their job to ward too. This can be annoying to the supports and I think every support main knows how stupid it is when your mid laner uses 1 ward for the entire game, and then yells at you for not warding enough despite you having maximum wards on the map at the same time.......

I think if sightstones were deleted it would bring more skill to the game. Make support more necessary/difficult, make warding a team effort, and also make warding more than just "oh I have 4 charges of sightstone, wards for everyone.". Because let's be honest, who hasn't played support, bought 2 pinks, 3 greens, and a ruby sightstone, and spammed wards at the enemy turret.

Sightstone itself is already an incredibly appealing item for supports itself. It has health, regenerating wards, and a bunch of other items.

I'm almost certain that, unless the AP or AD values were worthless, the item would appear on more than supports and the few who use it to ward hop.

And I'm not certain I want that. The last time an item was so wanted across several roles it was nerfed (and removed I think).

As a main the sightstone is incredibly appealing early game but once you enter mid game and late game you sort of feel you're gimping youself since you basically are stuck with exact issue of having a slot dedicated to wards, sure it gains value over time and can ease the build cost but honestly it doesn't feel like it's giving a proper impact. I can only place 3 wards which tend to either be varied between river and the enemy side of bot lane. The sightstone should have another tier that gives more benefit like more stats or perhaps a purple ward variant. The same goes for the top tier of the Gp5 items as they really don't feel like something you want to bother keeping as they only have a semi-decent active and rather low par stats.

I think there should be three to four build paths for sight stone. One for health, one for mobility or utility, and one for enhanced damage.

On another thread about soghtstone I got an idea for a moving ward (similar to Kalista's or Wolf smite buff)

item 2049 + item 3113 Grants movement speed, a small amount of AP, and places a ward that moves around an area
