Then a Level 30 player grabs Yasuo with a Thresh buddy and just wreck face on your entire team, but it was so well done that you can't even be mad, but it definitely leaves you defeated.

Ah, the moments that leave you deciding to go back to playing bots because you hate A.) Losing and B.) Total humiliation because of the level in which you got wrecked on.

Other than IP, XP and so on.. What keeps you guys and gals playing PvP even when you're completely crushed?

You mean you went from co-op vs ai to ranked?

Without thinking about going in normals?

At least he stopped, that's smarter than a lot of ranked players.

He literally made a decision in a time completely superior to thousands of players that have extremely low experience in normal games. It's actually impressive.

Though If OP wants some advice for getting into PVP is to certainly go for normals, but also take his selection of favorite champions and stick with them for a while, all while learning about things like not building MR into a full AD team (not a jip, we were all there once) Oh and have fun of course, don't let the often loudmouth in PVP stop you from having fun

This is coming from someone who has serious anxiety problems when going into online matches in gaming

Actually, I've played PvP before, but I think I've only played about a dozen matches PvP and my team lost most of them so I went back to bots to try to improve, which seems that the mentality is that it's not quite as effective. Which I can understand and won't argue against. As for Normal PvP and not Ranked, I guess I overlooked that bit, so I'll have to pay more attention to that.

I hate losing as much as the next guy/gal, and I'm generally good at almost all the PvP games I've ever played, so it's hard on the confidence side when I get whooped. But I can't go too much into that because I can tell that others feel the same. Will have to try harder to just throw myself into it and do a better job learning lessons from losses other than the basic " I kinda suck " lesson.

I would play normals to improve, bit of a harsh environment at first but it helps more than bots

Bots only really helps with game mechanics. Some argue it helps people learn to build, but most won't really think to build MR until they see that 1600 damage from LeBlanc in ther death recap, which frankly doesn't happen in bots.

To get better at PvP, you need to play PvP. People make different decisions than a bot would, and it's all a matter of learning how to predict that.
