Karthus is problematic.

I don't know what's worse. His overall AP DMG that he dishes out. His absurd Ult and the DMG that puts out or his death ability and the DMG that puts out. Now, I know many of you will tell me to build on my Magic Resist, and that's fine and all; I accept that criticism. However, even when I go that route it still seems to do no good for me.

All around, I say Karthus is a HUGE problem in the AP DMG department and he needs, no, DESERVES a NerfHammer. Even if it's a 10-15% cut on his overall AP DMG potential or drop his armor and/or HP by the same percentage, I'd be satisfied. It's ludicrous having more than 30% HP and than getting destroyed from half the map away because a Karthus decides to Ult. It's beyond absurd to me and I'm sure many others and I believe Riot needs to drop the NerfHammer on Karthus.

His ult is 1000 damage at most when he is 6-slotted. It is also countered by Zhonyas/Banshee/one of shielding spells or items. And it has 3 min cooldown. In reality his most powerful spell is his Q that can 2-shot some ADCs, but it is hard to hit and has low range. Any assassin can simply oneshot him as he is immobile+low ranged+skillshot reliable+has no hard CC

There's usually a stage for pretty much every new player when they think Karthus is OP, once you get used to playing against him he's not that hard to deal with. Karthus is a late game carry so if you let him farm up he is going to deal crazy amounts of damage, and a lot of players still make the mistake of sticking around after they kill him, he can't move while dead so going out of range will cut out a lot of his effectiveness, he is fairly squishy so just nuking him down and leaving is usually the best way to deal with him, if the only thing he can hit you with is his ult then you shouldn't have much issue with him.

Karthus is garbage if he is behind, You are garbage if you feed Karthus. There is no middle ground.

karthus is just trash right now especially when they nerfed his wall so you can't even consistently land q's after walling which costs a lot of mana too

Level 19 means you have a ways to go about learning. That includes why karthus, being a suicide nuker, deals a lot of damage.
