Flex Q Errors?

I'm not complaining here, I'm moving upwards in my games, but is there are reason I get the same LP winning against Plats and Golds as I do winning against Bronzes? I placed into Bronze 4, am in my Promos for B1 now; and was Silver 5 last season. Whenever I Q by myself I get placed with high Golds and Plats, but if I win, I don't get any different LP than when I play with lower rank friends and win against Bronzes. Just curious as to how this system is supposed to work? Granted I understand it's all messed up, with Challenger individuals being placed in Bronze and Diamonds in Silver 5 and all that.

You are using the logic that the last seasons rankings somehow influence the flex queue matchups. They currently run off of separate MMRs. The LP you gain for a win is determined based on your FLEX queue MMR and has nothing to do with your dynamic queue rating or your opponents dynamic queue rating.
