Flex Q Errors?

I'm not complaining here, I'm moving upwards in my games, but is there are reason I get the same LP winning against Plats and Golds as I do winning against Bronzes? I placed into Bronze 4, am in my Promos for B1 now; and was Silver 5 last season. Whenever I Q by myself I get placed with high Golds and Plats, but if I win, I don't get any different LP than when I play with lower rank friends and win against Bronzes. Just curious as to how this system is supposed to work? Granted I understand it's all messed up, with Challenger individuals being placed in Bronze and Diamonds in Silver 5 and all that.

yeah; I reread your post.^^" Basically until they fix that it won't fix the Lp gains and losses either really.

You are using the logic that the last seasons rankings somehow influence the flex queue matchups. They currently run off of separate MMRs. The LP you gain for a win is determined based on your FLEX queue MMR and has nothing to do with your dynamic queue rating or your opponents dynamic queue rating.

Again, I'm not complaining, but wouldn't doing well and winning against someone with higher MMR than me make sense to give me more LP? Or at least give me less for people lower rank than me. I'll take that even, I just want some sense in this. I saw the post that they are going to fix it somehow; I'm just getting the feeling that I was better off not playing Flex Q at all and just waiting until they fix it (maybe that way I would be placed properly).

Once again you are implying their MMR is significantly higher than yours. While it may be true their they dynamic queue MMR is much higher, their flex queue MMR is likely relatively close to your own at the time you played them. The two systems are completely separate.

Things may change as that Riot thread indicates, but they are currently separate queues with separate MMRs and it will take time for everyone to get to their appropriate league. Some longer than others.
