Promotion Match Experience.

So I learned yesterday that one should never wait until the last few days to finish up and sort of promotion matches whatsoever. As soon as I was entered into my promotion to gold matches, I noticed an astounding amount of my team mates decided to straight up leave, afk, or intentionally feed. Oddly enough, they all knew I was in my promotion matches, and they were all gold 5 with 0 lp. People were actually queuing once they got their gold, looked up to see if anyone was in their placements for gold, and throwing the game on purpose so others wouldn't get gold. I was going 2-2 and when it came down to the final game one person just decided to never show up to the game. Strange enough they were gold 5 WITH 0 LP? Coincidence? Probably not. In all 3 games that I lost someone afk'd at some point or just fed when they got mad and didn't care whether they won or lost. I think for the lower brackets like silver, bronze, and possibly gold Riot should have only people in their promotion matches play against each other and strictly only people in their promotion matches. 10 out of 10 people that actually have strong incentive to stay at their computer and fight for a win. Longer que times? So be it. I think all of us would prefer waiting a 5-10 extra minutes if it guarantees that we don't get trolls in our matches that matter.

I agree, and I believe they tried to change it to something similar. I think it is currently "tries to match you with other people in their promos" which is better than it was before. But you are right, I bet majority of people would rather have an extra long wait time to get a full team of people in their promos.
