Why is Akali's presentation so abysmally piss poor?

Every time I look at the in-game unlock screen and go over her abilities I weep for her. It has kept me from getting her for a while because she looks utterly useless. It wasn't until I looked up her stats on a wiki that my jaw dropped at what she could do.

You really have to advertise her insanely low cooldowns better and show the crazy amount of damage she can dish out.

Her passive is another thing that really put me off, just reading it makes her feel weak, I mean how the hell do you itemize for both Attack Damage and Ability Power at the same time? There's only like 3 items in the game that have those stats at the same time. It turns out that this isn't a problem but you won't realize that until you play her.

You also have to show how truly crazy her ult is, it is a point and click gap closer that deals damage and has basically no real cooldown, and is not even dependent on her energy resource, it instead gains charges at a crazy fast rate that I've read can be even further increased with cooldown items. An insanely cool ability but you'd never know just how powerful it is from her ability page.

Her wave clear is also very good, but again, you'd never guess it.

It would also be nice to know that she is a energy champion, you don't really notice it when you look at her videos but this changes everything about her, it makes all of her ability so damn spamable without regard for slow ass mana regeneration and need for items to build it.

Whomever did those videos did a absolutely piss poor job and they need to be redone properly to make clear what this champion is all about.

Playing her is a lot of fun and she is really strong, I wish I had known that sooner.
