A Probably Unpopular Thought

How about we put any new features/champions/game modes on hold for a while and instead put the focus on structural things. Tighten up some hitboxes to make abilities and champions more clean feeling, reduce the lollipopping on skillshots as well as fixing the piles of misc champion bugs that exist. On the player side, they could improve the moderation and matchmaking system, find some way to not inadvertently punish teams who have AFKs or inters.

Because at this point, every new champion is just a new arm on this balance scale of already maddening complexity, and they're still using household fruits as the weights.

Every company does the same thing though. They will keep trying out new stuff (champs/skins in this case) to keep making money while they kinda dabble with current problems here and there. As long as enough of us keep playing with all the issues (which we do), they will keep putting them on the back burner.

No diff than pro sports. We all complain about the crazy salaries, but until people ACTUALLY stop going to games, watching them on TV, and buying team merchandise, they will just keep (t)rolling.
