Why do they build item 3742 and can just run up to you like they are Usain Bolt? Not every champion has ranged CC to stop them.

Then don't be by yourself if you're not either playing someone who can 1v1 duel them ( Tryndamere ) or someone who does have ranged CC.

Because they are sinking gold into an item that is otherwise very weak for its price (especially with how weak armor is now).

The stats are actually pretty good for it's price, giving good tier 3 item stats at least. Plus, the passive doesn't exactly make it sinking gold.

It's gives more health and armor than sunfire cape and 200 more hp than randuins. Sure it's not as efficent as pre-nerf armor items, but it's one the strongest now.

Champion balance is pretty lacking due largely in part to the new items. item 3071 item 3748 item 3053

Being able to build 3-4k HP with the same attack damage that glass cannons like old Zed / Yi used to have is just ridiculous.

Because building those items doesn't render them immune to CC. They can still be slowed, stunned, snared, knock up, and w/e else.

They still have the same weakness of being kitable.
