I did my placements during the current preseason. Does that mean that will be my permenent rank fpr Season 8? or will I start like a fresh account? oooor will ill get reset to Bronze 5 or something?
no you do not get to keep your current rank. there is a soft reset which means that yes most people end up somewhere in bronze depending on placements. i looked and you're bronze two right now? you will most likely be bronze 5. last season i ended silver 4 i think and i started this past season mid bronze i think.
Bronze 5 was fun I'll never be back there again tho oh bronze... those were the days
I have ended in high silver every season. And barring the hard reset year I have been soft reset to bronze 3-4 every year.
Well guys. I did it. I went from B5 to Silver 4 with Silver 2 MMR and a 50% win rate in just a week. Mind you I started playing in November.
