So i started the pre season in bronze 1 I fell out then back and fourth between bronze 1 nd 2 when i got to my placements for silver 5 both times i had a leaver and its been all downhill from there. IDK what i can do better to get out of my rank but im willing to be taught and learn.

I think my biggest issue is i have no idea when to roam. I win my lane often but its at the cost of bot losing thiers. IDK when/ how to help them

focus on 1-2 things specifically each game.

  • Good cs.
  • Warding, trinket use, pinks (ward where you and the enemy are GOING to be in the next few min)
  • zoning/trading in lane
  • wave management in lane.
  • What to do after lane (this one is pretty broad but it generally boils down to group as 4-5, stick together and just walk around to objectives getting them in order)
  • main 1-3 champions and really learn them. Every matchup, every useful item, every little small tip you can find.
  • know matchups (this comes with a large number of games on a specific champion)
  • Build items for that game instead of a set build path (and know why you are building them)
  • Learn how to follow the jungler/keep an eye out for him on the minimap.
  • If you can't see or havn't seen their team for a bit assume they are grouped and are sitting in a bush waiting for you/coming for you in that side lane.
  • Memorize/ping summoner spells and know who has what up.
  • Start remembering ulti cds and roughly when it will be back up.
  • Then expand that to important basic cds, yas windwall, riven q or e etc. and look for trades in those windows of opportunity.

All of these things can be looked up and actively practiced every game. You just have to think about it every game until it just becomes habit to check your minimap or automatically know you have ~10s till rivens sheild comes back, that jungler will be topside around 2:45-3:00 etc.

Overall always have a reason to be doing something. If you don't know why you are doing something then stop doing it until you can justify it with research and practice. A good example happens during laning. People are constantly walking in and out of harass range when they have zero reason to be. No minions are close to dieing but people will still walk up, get harassed and then back off. You should only be taking harass if you are attempting to go for minions or are attempting to trade yourself.

Why are you checking that bush?
Why are you going top to clear that wave? Why are you building randuins? Are there any better items you could have built? Why are you walking forward in lane? to zone? to harass? to farm? Why are you warding now? Why that bush? Is the jungler likely to be doing his second red and is going to come and gank you? Is he doing his other buff and is half way across the map and you wasted a ward?
Why are you alone? Can you reach your team right now if a fight broke out?

There are a lot of things to think about in this game and you are not going to be good at all of them in the next 10-20 games. Just keep plugging away and you will start climbing eventually.

If you wanna know how to escape low elo in the easiest fucking way possible, play thresh blitz or leona, learn how to push for/pressure around level 2, and all in your lane opponent every damn game. If you wanna get to at least gold, this is the absolute easiest way in the entire game.

If you actually want to learn how to play the game and get better through knowledge of the game etc.. watch higher elo streams and don't just watch what they do but actually analyze it and take every moment as a teaching opportunity.

No offense but if you're in bronze, you suck. Understand this and it becomes a lot easier to get better, because you realize you can get better at literally everything. Easiest time to improve is when you're horrible because there's more to improve on, and its easier to improve on each thing since you're making pretty basic mistakes.

If you have any specific questions add moooose4. I get banned a ton cuz I'm very toxic in game but sit around D1-Master 220 LP most of the season, and do bronze-diamond runs all the time. So fairly knowledgeable about the game and how to play in different ranks in general.

Well guys. I did it. I went from B5 to Silver 4 with Silver 2 MMR and a 50% win rate in just a week. Mind you I started playing in November.

In Bronze?

I wouldn't roam at all.

Just sit Mid and farm up. Work on trading mechanics and you can consistently be 2 levels ahead of everyone else. This will allow you to come out of mid game and become a totally unstoppable force. Just don't die, focus down those towers, and use your EXP/Gold lead to crush everyone else.

Pick a champ that is unstoppable with an EXP lead... I recommend Vladimir (with the slightest EXP/kill lead he can hard carry and 1 vs 2/3). If you can't play him then someone like Lux will work just fine.

Just don't bother with assassins (easily throw games, too much mechanics required, kits focus on 1 vs 1 when you need to 1 vs 2/3 to win so you'll be playing with a disadvantage).

You don't need to roam because if you do you put Mid tower at risk and there's ZERO guarantee your team mate will respond to the roams appropriately. If the enemy starts roaming and getting Double kills for his team just Mute everyone and keep farming Mid. Get 1-2 levels ahead of the other laner and start carrying.

Half the time in Bronze if they leave lane, you can shove up and damage their tower safely while gaining a HUGE gold/EXP lead.
