Where is URF?

So I've been waiting for URF to come back for a while now but it's never on the list, why? I also tried too look up myself on why but never uncovered anything about it. Is there an unspoken rule about when URF will come out again?item 3070

They claimed I believe twice a year and it has come twice. Although it is silly that the other modes get so much attention. They know urf is the most popular one and don't want to take too many players from the main game too often it seems.

Yeah some people just want to play the rotating game queue on the weekends and be done with league until next weekend. Im pretty sure riot wants to preserve the actual game.

Which is silly, the actual game isn't going anywhere.

It's incredibly unbalanced and once it's out for more than a day people just start spamming OP picks are you can't do anything about it. It's supposed to be a rare gamemode and it should stay that way.

I heard that they made certain adjustments to champions like teemo in the game mode, for example that he is only allowed to have about 36 shrooms I believe but I could be wrong. If someone doesnt like the game mode why would riot listen to them about it? They made it OP for a reason, no balances just a bunch of slamming your face on the keyboard too win/loose. I understand that it should be rare but it seems as if they do not have enough game modes already to have a super rare one.

This comment here is exactly why they don't put it in more. if you don't like that aspect of it, then don't play. The whole point of URF is to celebrate unfairness and OPness. its crazy and it should be available WAY more than it is. If you care about balance so much then go play ranked. meanwhile don't take away our fun by saying the most popular alternate game-mode in league of legends should stay rare. nobody makes you play it. Yet those of us who do want to play it are not able to because Riot feels the need to restrict it. There is actually 0 reasons why it should be rare. This argument that it is too unfair, or that it will grow stale actually isn't applicable here. We have had the default Rift game mode since the game came out without any significant gameplay changes, and yet you don't see complaints all that often about it becoming stale. Some people prefer U.R.F. I know many players who log in only when U.R.F is availble. To not offer it is a disservice to those players, and is basically the equivalent of what Blizzard does when they claim that players don't actually want Vanilla WoW with the famous made-fun-of statement: "You think you do, but you don't".

Put Simply, its Riot's attempt to try and dictate what players think is fun or not. Which isn't their job at all. Their job is to produce a game that millions will enjoy while making a profit. U.R.F always brings in money, and millions play it. So why not include it?

The simple answer is pride.
