The Future of League

This post is about what I hope to see in the near future of League of Legends. Obviously these are just my opinions.

A new map. I would like a map with a little more versatility. Instead of three separate lanes and a jungle, maybe all of the lanes intersect in the middle like a crucible or choke-point and instead of a jungle you have objectives. Either capture points or monsters that buff the whole team or fight in your lane. I want to be able to leave lane more, co-op with team more, turn the tide of a game without having to team fight to do it.

The ability to mute all chat with one button/option. Lets face it, the majority of players don't even chat, let alone strategize. At best you get a troll or a rager. And if you disagree, it's an option. So you don't have to mute the team but I want to be able to without having to click every mute button, every time.

A testing map where we can play 1v1 against computer enemies. I've tried using Twisted Treeline against bots to test new champs and builds and its a waste. The other players just want their win of the day and high kill streaks. I never have a chance to actually test anything.

Lastly, please bring back Ultra Rapid Fire permanently. It is just pure fun imo. I'm sure there are people who don't like URF just like I don't care for Summoners Rift in general. Can't please everyone

A new map would be great. Rift gets stale. HotS had it right when they made it a priority to release several maps, because it not only keeps everything fresh and fun, but it also pretty much negates any sense of a meta. You can't force someone to play around the map structure when every map is structured differently.

The ability to mute all chat is another good idea, and something else HotS got pretty quickly. Before every game, you're informed if your chat is off or on, and then you can click right there in the chat window to toggle it. And they don't even HAVE an all chat, because Blizzard apparently recognized that trash talk makes a game a little more fun for half of a given session and way less fun for the other half.

Testing map is another good idea, and ANOTHER thing HotS did! Are you coming from there with these ideas? :) They even let you play heroes you haven't unlocked, and the rules are different. You can spawn minions whenever you please, set levels to whatever you please, and reset whenever you feel like it, giving you plenty of time to get a feel for any hero before you commit money to buying them. Riot would do really well to have such a system in place, from a gameplay standpoint, but I can see how it'd hurt their bottom line. As it stands now, a lot of people will buy a champ on day one, sight unseen, only to regret it later. But Riot still makes that money.

And that last one is just a hard yes. If ARAM can become an actual thing, I don't see why URF couldn't be permanent.

Only part i agree with is the last paragraph. I don't understand why Riot seriously feels like URF will get too stale, it's a FUN mode. If ARAM isn't stale yet URF won't reach that point either. They need to keep it.

If HotS had gear slots (per match like items) and specializations (overall like masteries/runes) I would uninstall League and never play it again. Items, runes, masteries, that is what makes League better. If HotS implements them, I'm gone. The different maps and objectives make it more fun.
