Why does qiyana have a ult that is more appropiate for a tank than an assassin?

Well... title says most of it... It's an auto-connecting, ranged, unconditional gnar ult with 5+ times the AoE.

Shouldn't that be on the tankiest of tanks (Think malphite. Except W armor passive is always 3x but nothing has dmg) instead of a highly moblie champ?

Look - I don't mind assassins doing dmg and 1shotting, that's their job. Their ONLY job. Not to hard engage fights or literally funnel the entire team for simply doing their job (looking at you pyke)

As I read in another thread, champions that can do everything is apparently the sign of good champion design and this game´s future.

giving a gnar ultimate to a hypermobile assassin is probably one of the dumbest things I have seen lately.

I don't see anything wrong with letting an assassin have some utility. Let them actually contribute for once. And it's not like she's broken because of it or anything, Qiyana's pretty weak, isn't she?

she gets that ult because there is no other ult you can give her that makes her fair. you're gonna give her a point and click nuke for an ulti because sidestepping is too difficult.
