Lux R receives a cooldown of up to 50% if she kills her target
no Riot you've gone too far Lux with 40% cdr has a approximately 30 second cooldown on her ult half of that is 15 seconds
that's URF cooldown what is your problem Lux is my highest ranking champion, I've never ever, no matter how hard I was crushed, found her weak in any way imaginable she's actually very strong so why don't you please, just revert this buff entirely
This is only late game, the scalings are that Lux gets 10%, 30% and 50% for an enemy killed. That means that at lvl 6 you get 10%, at lvl 11 you get 30% and at lvl 16 you get 50%. Its a small buff to her early/mid, but is pointed at making her a viable late game teamfighting champion like most of the ap mid lane casters at the current meta, if anything this is perfectly fine by me because it allows lux to shine more than she's ever really shone in the current meta.
note: Also don't forget that most matches don't last this long meaning it wont really show too much in games causing the buff to balance itself out.
When a Lux blows her load, I'm thinking she is easily one of the most ignorable targets in the game. This is late game before the whole CDR buff. Her entire presence later into the game is entirely about if you land your stuff, and it will usually be on one person unless it's lower elo Baron pit. Speaking of which, I want to know the multi-hit interaction of this CDR since it is an AoE spell.
Lux's laning is strong but generally her teamfight is one of the worst I've seen. If you wanted someone that did the same thing as her but better in teamfights, you'd pick 
who doesn't go all-or-nothing due to most of the damage being on ulti. This buff feels like the Cho'Gath one where it won't push her into the meta but will just create another issue for lower elo.
Kind of rare to see someone asking Riot to nerf their main.
