Bewitching Janna's Shield

Sorry if this is in the wrong category. I just got Bewitching Janna, and I love it to death. However, I find the shield incredibly hard to see. There were a few times where I put my shield on an ally, and I thought it didn't go off until I saw the cooldown. Has anyone else thought this, or is it just me?
