2nd time this week where i get reported for NO REASON at all. this time im in an aram where 2 of my teammates are calling me garbage and my only response was "lol" because i knew they were trying to bait me in order to insult them back. i said 2 things in all chat which consisted of " building tanky in aram", and " so fun xD".

I SHOULD NOT BE SEEING THIS NOTIFICATION WHATSOEVER. BRING BACK THE DAMN TRIBUNAL.

a warning that people are abusing the reports? a warning? no. it doesnt add up. a duo decided to piss me off and when i didnt reply back with the insult and attention they craved, they reported me and i got a warning. i didnt report them back because they stopped when they realized i wouldnt reply. to my mistake I WOULD BE THE ONE TO GET REPORTED.

It's an automatic warning that declares you guilty by its wording. "Your recent behavior isn't in line with how most League of Legends players behave...." It's an automatic system. It doesn't know that. All it knows is that you've been reported.

I haven't downvoted you once. I think continuing to make jokes that you aren't catching onto isn't really helping anyone (besides making me feel better about myself) so I'm going to explain things instead. I'm saying "lol" because that's what you said to the people who were having a toxic influence in your game. I believe you are exhibiting toxic behavior when you:

Call everyone who disagrees with your opinion a complete tool (in the title of your post)
Call me immature when I point out that it is insulting and therefore toxic
Insinuate that I am incapable of coming up with a valid comment when I try to show you, using your own behavior, another perspective.

Defining toxic behavior through specific words and phrases isn't a good approach for exactly this reason (although some words and phrases are intrinsically toxic, like racial or homophobic slurs). Calling someone a "tool" might not be using a word on that same level, but it's your attitude that is toxic, not your words--your attitude that you've expressed when you say that anyone who disagrees with you "is a complete tool" that has "no self thought process," or that I would realize you're right if I was "more mature."

One could make the same arguments you're trying to make in this thread in a non-toxic way, but it seems that you're having trouble doing so, perhaps without even realizing it. This is probably why you're getting reported "for NO REASON at all," which is pretty ironic. That's the irony that I was basing my "lol" posts off of.

After all, the one claiming they didn't do anything wrong has a pretty good chance of being biased.

Have you tried not being toxic? The system will not count false verbal abuse reports if you aren't.

If the reports are false then they won't hurt you, as I mentioned. The notification does not mean the system has validated the reports, it only lets you know that you've been reported more frequently than normal. That's it.

That's kind of like saying "how is saying "kill yourself" abuse if it doesn't actually work".. The false report isn't intended to get someone banned (although they wouldn't mind if it did, I'm sure). It's intended to make the person get that notification in an effort to have the last laugh. It's a another form of abuse, just like toxic chat in the game.

It doesn't matter if they hurt or not. It's bullshit to get the following notification after a game where you don't say anything toxic/anything at all:

"Your recent behavior isn't in line with how most of League of Legends players Act. You've been recently reported for Harassment: Offensive Language. We know everyone has bad days, but remember to take it easy and make sure you're being sportsmanlike."

Really? The first line is so fucking condescending. It's an automatic message with wording that makes it sound like they've looked into the report and determined that you were, in fact, being offensive, when they haven't. You're automatically declared guilty by a system that it known to be abused by trolls.

If they removed the first sentence, getting the notification wouldn't be as bad. To answer your question, this is why it's abuse..

As was being said, it's just a notification. Doesn't mean those reports have done anything. If you're truly innocent you would just shrug and move on. A false report won't do a thing to you.
