I Think that juggernauts with dead mans plate might be a LITTLE too strong

I feel like these juggernauts, when building dead mans plate, are a little too strong tbh. I mean the whole premise justifying their damage is that its hard for them to get to you right? (Albeit I really don't think a TANK character is EVER supposed to do damage in a healthy game, but that's a different issue) Well, I feel that dead mans plate negates that quite heavily. And then, when they cruise up to you, their first auto is a devastating slow. All in all i feel like it makes it too easy to catch up to a carry as these characters who are EMPHASIZED when talked about by Riot to be hulking slow monsters, cause you know, they really aren't all that slow any more.

I also feel that the item might be especially deadly on Garen and Skarner , because of their in kit movespeed buffs, which with dead mans plate, take their ms well above 500 with boots. Those being on a frequent cooldown, paired with the heavy slow, i feel doesn't give them any visible weaknesses in terms of kiting, cause well, they are gerderm race cars. All in all i really think this ruins the point of "juggernauts", or at least what Riot has described them to be.

Lemme Know what you think in the comments. E X T R A P O L L: Do you think tanks doing lots of damage is a healthy game design mechanic?

I see no empirical evidence to support your claim.

I give this discussion two thumbs down.

neither garen nor skarner are tanks.

theyre supposed be be tanky, while dealing large amounts of damage in melee. think xin or aatrox. the main difference is, tey dont have hard gap closers so theyre much more easily kitable. to offset this weakness, they have been made more tanky than your usual fighter.

an ad scaling tank would be more comparable to sion. long range initiate, disruptive aoe cc and strong defensive scaling to go along with it. same for malphite (minus the ad scaling).

thats the entire point of the juggernaut update, to basically make their lategame as strong as nasus, while they nerfed their early game.

I love how there are threads claiming tanks are UP and tanks are OP within a few posts of each other. I take that as everything is balanced.
