Has anyone noticed that the best thing about Ryze was his overload in the golden days. Sure it needed to be revamped but not everything needs to be a skillshot. Ryze is the mage of this game from the beginning yet he lacks something about him. Maybe its his playstyle, his new shield mechanics, or some people just miss the old Overload and how satisfying it was to farm one so strong with . So this is for you riot, please dont remove the satisfying aspects of league of legends. Especially when the aspects include something so satisfying as Overload.

Try blowing up an entire wave with as gangplank with a barrel, so satisfying

You can stack item 3070 with overload even easier now, since it doesn't require a target. The benefits of having it be a skillshot is that

more counterplay, can be dodged
has a higher range to compensate
Can hit stealthed/in-brush/in-FoW units (like a teemo in hiding)

Could you imagine how cancerous it would be if overload was still a point-click spell with the current kit? Fluxed-overload would be ridiculous.
