How Can I Help My ADC?

I know about preparing the casters under tower, but I hear in a lot of high elo vids that the ADC should last hit turrets and/or be the only to take the turret. Does last hitting a turret give more or does being the only one taking it give more gold?

Any other support tips are welcomed too, I wanna be the best support I can be. [poppy-wink]

Both. If they're taking it alone, it gives them the most gold. If they last hit it, they get more than whoever helped (although I believe the team gains more gold overall with an assisted takedown than with a solo takedown).
