So title pretty much says it all. I really like Braum as a character but I find that enjoy him a heck of a lot more after lane phase. And I figured Id ask what im doing wrong during lane phase. I pretty much just try and hit with q and jump shield my ally if it will help. But thats pretty much it. Is there something I should be doing differently please let me know ^^ bc I really want to get better at him hes a lot of fun.
What you described is mostly it, but do it well.
Be conscious of what abilities the enemies have to block with your shield and be on point with those. Many adcs have ults that can be blocked entirely with braum shield, so you'll generally want save your shield to block those instead of random AA's, but use your best judgement.
It's occasionally useful to know you can jump to an allied minion, which can sometimes put you in position to either AA or Q an enemy champ and set up an engage that way.
His laning phase can be a drag depending on the ADC matchup and the enemy supp. When it comes to ganking or going aggressive you'll want to jump to the closest minion to the enemy and Q and obviously ult when available. Try to use your shield effectively by watching for things like Caitlyn's Q and make sure to always use your charges from face to help with sustain and your gold income.
