Featured game modes
Instead of randomly selecting a game mode why doesn't riot just create a survey on which game modes should be chosen open to all players and pick between a group to see which are most liked by the community?

They dont want to divide the playerbase from Summoner's Rift. At least not while the LCS is still growing. When that begins to grow stale you'll see new maps and game modes pop up. Give 'em time, and either bear with it or walk away, that's up to you.
