True damage / Thought on damage in general
Just an idea, Ik the point of true damage is that its a flat amount and that what it shows is what your getting but when true damage becomes stackable it becomes kind of over bearing and hard to deal with. Would it make sense to have true damage having a stacking mechanic? that way if a yi goes conqueror rageblade w/ his e passive he still deals comparatively MORE true damage than other champions but sizeably less than he is now? or would that defeat the purpose of true damage. Secondly, could the same idea be applied for damage overall? like if I have 100 armor and 2K hp just hypothetically and i take 1000 damage over 3 seconds i recieve the full 1000 damage, but if i recieve that 1000 damage over 1 second i take 750 damage? Ik that would make DPS champs alot stronger and burst weaker so maybe its the wrong idea Im just curious what thoughts are about a system like that. Numbers etc are subject to change its really just the concept.
Ofc there are obvious issues w/ this type of system so if you all want to point them out and either suggest solutions or just highlight them in the comments go for it.
