WHY AM I LOSING SO MUCH LP???

After busting my assssss trying to get to gold (1.2k games) Im now winning the majority of games and according to op.gg I have a solid MMR for my division, BUT Im losing 23lp PER GAME?? YEAH fuck this lol, i don't understand? Am I not worthy, IS RIOT TRYING TO SAY IM BOOSTED TRASH???? I only get 16 lp per win, imagine losing because of afk's or getting dumb trolls and you lose 22lp that shit needs to be fixed. Please tell me im not the only one. It's like they're trying to promote smurfs smh, and can kinda sympathize with the smurfs (don't neccesarily agree with them though).

The math: 16 lp for a win, I would have to win SEVEN games in a row for a chance at promos, but lose only 4 in a row to be around 0 lp what is this crap? I'm not wasting my time on ranked unless this is fixed or someone explains this to me.

Keep playing more games in your current elo and your mmr will catch up.

What I assume happened is you lost quite a bit in a lower elo or something, maybe your playstyle wasn't carry oriented and more towards team play so your mmr was tanked and you would lose in a lot of games where you might have had the highest mmr on your team.

And you probably got traction recently and started climbing really fast.

Im not sure how mmr is calculated, but it really sounds like youre fighting some form of equation that uses a mean / average. Meaning youll need to win more games against better players the more you lose games against worse players.

Even if everything I say is entirely bs / false, atleast it should make you feel better.

That means your MMR is bad. OP.GG is only an estimate, and is often times very inaccurate.

All I know is that if you win vs worse MMR players you get less and if you lose against them you lose more. And if you lose to higher MMRs you lose less and if you win you win more.

You have lost more than won by a dramatic amount usually a big lose streak will cause it
