Remake

I dodged a game last second because 2 people on the team threatened to troll and one of them already verified his intent by banning my champion. When I checked his OP.GG it was confirmed that he had already hard inted 2 games. I then took a break and came back to find that the game had somehow already started when I dodged at 1 second. The game was remade and it counted as a loss. This is odd because LP and MMR is supposed to represent the skill of a player. What if a player lost connection and never joined? How does lowering their rank properly determine their skill level? Why should players get punished for never connecting?
