Matchmaking Broken

Ever since I played season 9, the ranks appear to be messed up. I try not to blame my team in every loss, but recently I've been losing because people one division lower are placed on my team. On Op.gg, it clearly shows that about 4/5 games that I lose have a gold player on my team in my high plat games against plat and diamond players. Obviously, they go 2/9 in lane. Some even AFK from being stomped too hard in lane. Occasionally I do get a gold player on the enemy team and we of course stomp that team. Why is matchmaking so broken? I shouldn't have to say "thank God" when I see that everyone on my team is the same rank as the enemy team; equitable matchmaking should be a given. It's not even 50/50 that a team gets a gold player. Through my losses, it seems like the gold players are always on my team. Is that a result of my MMR?

My friend (Sil3) and me (Sil2) were in my friends promos with an Iron 3, first time jungle Kled, with 101 mastery points.

Sometimes, the game just says "not you" to your promotion games...still, I always joked about being matched with "Iron 3 garbage" in promo games, and that game, it was unfortunately no joke.

Casual games aren't much better tbh. I am a Bronze 1 and went up against 2 gold 4's duoed in botlane. 17 minute inhib down.

No, its a result of the other accounts MMR. Looks like 3 of your gold teamamtes finished last season in plat. 1 player, 0-3-0 akali looks like a smurf account or boosted account that abused preseason to inflate her MMR to a high value. 1 player who was gold in your game is now plat 3. Has been plat in prior seasons thou finished gold last year.

I don't see any one listed as diamond in the few losses I checked. Your going to see them from time to time in your games. The current Tier means less unless they have a high # of matches.

What did you ever do that would get a matchmaker system to treat your account so special that it constructs entire matches around you?
