How to Convince My Brother to Stick to a Small Champion Pool for Ranked?

He literally tries out champions that are too hard for him or he doesn't have experience with in ranked. I feel like he'd be gold now if he just stuck to champions he's good at. He has no success with any champion that isn't an adc yet he still wants to climb with them. He flames his team often when he's stuck in a division (he's gotten 4 accounts banned) and even when he's doing badly with a champion he fails to realize it. He seems to have the notion that as long as he doesn't feed his lane and doesn't have an overly bad kda he deserves to win. Here is his account:

He has gotten Gold 1 last year but has been unable to get back due to how often his accounts have gotten banned. He hit Gold 3 with another account in October before it got banned but regardless I think he should be climbing faster.

Take his favorite drink and dillute it with water, one second of flowing water for each champion he wants to add to his Champion pool and force him to drink it. Then tell him the flavor is an analogy to his climbing chances.

If you're already telling him what he's doing is wrong and he doesn't listen, you really can't do much else. His banned accounts and rate of climbing is evident of the issues of his game play.

You can't help people who won't help themselves. That being said, if he does want to listen and isn't currently because of lack of reason, then just explain to him that his gold level mechanics aren't solid enough to extend over to all champions because that's what it sounds like he's doing. Thinking he can play all the champions in the game solely off gold mechanics.

So he's toxic and not learning from losing multiple accounts for it?

Sounds like he needs to learn how to treat other people. That would probably go a long way to helping him climb.

Or you could just show him a new game. Something without teammates. I'm sure the community would thank you for getting his toxic ass out of their ranked games.

Paraphrasing probably.

Being more specialized with a champion greatly increases your chances of winning while playing that champion. Getting comfortable with them also makes certain combos reflexive which gives more time to think on the macro.

blitz can play top and sup and its one of tho hahaha u died form a q pull into a 1v5 champ that or figure out his top 4 fav and get him all of the skins for those.

my gf wanted me to sup her as lux and i hate lux...im now a lv 7 lux main because of ele skin for some reason it works

or show him the top players match history and he will notice that they have few champs they play in ranked

Tell him he's got two options:

Play and practice a small pool of champions he has a gift for and climb
Play more than a small pool of champions (a large pool) and keep getting screwed.

If he likes getting screwed, then he can stick to 2. Otherwise, I would change my tactics. Just be blunt. If the incorrigible person keeps at "1" then start singing some Papa Roach:

"I can't help you fix yourself... but at least I can say I tried. I'm sorry but I've got to MOVE ON WITH MY OWN LIFE!"
