Clarification on Janna's Monsoon (channeled spells)

I've been a long time Janna player, ever since I started playing League, and ironically, I don't know how a lot of other spells interact with Monsoon, or I suppose channeled spells in general.

I am mainly confused as to what the general rules are for which spells/item actives disrupt channeled spells. As Janna, I often have Locket/Mikael's/Talisman, and of course Exhaust and Eye of the Storm.

Now... which one of those will cancel Monsoon if used in the middle... is there a pattern? This has been one of the most confusing parts of playing Janna to me. I've cancelled my ult many times on accident by shielding allies during my ult, despite Eye of the Storm not having any casting animation (which is why it confuses me so often). However, I have successfully used Locket during ult channels before, so does that mean as an item active, Mikael's would not disrupt the channel?

I feel like it might be as simple as champion abilities will cancel channels, but item actives/summoner spells will not.

I'm pretty sure (eta: most) item actives (and summoner spells) can be used without interrupting channels, including jannas ult.

In many cases though, trying to use an item active on someone will involve you moving slightly to get in range to do so, and movement will cancel channels.

edit: I'm pretty sure the exceptions are things like zhonyas, but that's not the item active breaking the channel, so much as the side effect of that particular active rendering you in stasis.

I know eye of the storm breaks it but locket does not.

I'm also wondering this.. Can we get an official list of what cancels Janna's ult please?
