Disable chat for Bronze/Silver/Gold

Let's face it, they don't use it for anything else but flaming, toxicity, saying they are going to feed or they afk. Make world a better place and disable chat for them.

You can mute them yourself, its really easy. And you should not care if they are flaming to each other

I shouldn't care if they flaming eachother? Sorry, buddy, but if they flame eachother they are going to spend 90% of time thinking about what to say and typing it, not paying attention to the game itself. League is not a chatroom, chat should be disabled during game.

then why only disable it only on gold and below? if it's not a chatroom it should be disabled in every rank period

Just a question: Why are you playing with low-elo people? If you are a high-elo player-you can climb out of there no matter what your allies/enemies do If you are at same level as that players-well, they have 5 men flamewar, you have 4 men flamewar, so your team has advantage

Well, I assume people are the same in both teams, the only difference is you. If you are not the reason for flaming-it is statistically true that enemy team is flaming too.

People flame because they are losing, not becaue they are winning. Where did you get those flowed statistics from? Obviously they flame because they are losing, the enemy team has all the reason to be happy.

You don't get the point. If anyone makes a mistake and dies, for example, they get flamed on. Losing at this point, obviously also flaming.

Enemy players also do mistakes and are flamed on. You are not playing agains LCS team or something at that level, your enemies are same as your allies

i agree i just mute them when i smurf. had to play with 4 gold players all they did was rage about how a diamond couldnt carry them and called me bad while they were probably the worst players ive seen in a while. Then i had a bronze player in a normal call me a peice of shit for telling him to not go in the enemy jungle LOL They should just remove chat and re give it you when you are diamond so you can talk to your team

It's a fact. Low ranks don't need chat for improving the game. You can get to diamond also only with mechanics and no strategy at all.

it's a fact that you have no idea how to play the game. Disable chat in all ranks or in neither. Mute people if they annoy you, simple as that. Don't use words you have no idea what they mean

ah, the classic "you are this rank so your opinion doesn't matter excuse" you do know that only people who have no actual argument use that excuse. You can keep all your worthless excuses, if you are complaining about divisions below plat that means you are either playing with them which doesn't make you any better or you are just talking out of your ass and have no idea what you are talking about. People rage in higher ranks just as much as they rage in the lowers ranks. When you actually have an argument that's worth a damn, please tell me because you have constantly shown that you have none

No, darling, that is not about "no actual argument to use" excuse. That's realistic thinking. You don't ask chess amateurs opinions in pro chess tournaments. 90% of cummunity all over the world is still Bronze/Silver/Gold - you are simply bad players and you opinion is not important on gamechanging matters. That's so wrong. I myself don't have very good mechanics but I win games using game knowledge, it doesn't always go my way but I would never be stuck in the lowest league in any game just because of my mechanics not being top tier. You can get elo by just knowledge and by just mechanics, while having these both characteristics constitue a huge advantage.

The mere fact that you think that game knowledge has even anything to do with ranks is hilarious also, the only thing that a high rank can prove is that you have a better grasp on the mechanics of the game. Most people don't play rank and i bet that most of those unranked players know the game way better than you ever will. Just like there are many low ranked players who might know a lot about the game but just play the game to have fun so they don't bother improving their mechanics. What does you starting after me has anything to do with it? you do know there are people who just start playing the game yet in less than 6~7 months they reach diamond/plat/whatever? Game knowledge is important, doesn't mean jack if you don't have the mechanics to back it up. Hell half the time you just need the mechanics to advance through the ladder. I have seen so many plat+ players posting stuff that are so wrong even in the most basic of levels, exaggerating things to the extreme or when i spectate matches and see them doing the exact same dumb mistakes you could see bronze players do. Yet they have their mechanics down to the line and win purely based of that.

Please tell me about how great you are and how worthless the opinion of anyone lower ranked than you is. People play the game for various of reasons, some just don't care about climbing through the ranks and have fun, some want to become the best they could ever be and others just don't care about anything and play just because they can, among many other reasons.

i also love how just because i play Sona you come saying stupid stuff like "i can't expect you to have X or Y" sorry but what? you really have NO argument if that's the best you can come up with. I know about what junglers do, i know what every single role do. I don't like the play style of junglers so i barely ever play them. I don't care about climbing the ranks, i just learn things and put them on practice. I try to improve my mechanical skills. I don't even play the game as much as i used to, yet every season i keep improving even though i play less and less. Yet you are higher ranked than me, bravo! want me to get you a cookie?

Look I'm no fan of sports but the reality is 2-3 years of being good at a game doesn't compare to people who are physically the best at what they do. I get upset when people care too much about video games.

It is not you that decides what people enjoy doing and earning their money from. Also, not worthshiping him, but he is by no means fat or a nerd, he is just much more intelligent than you. ;)

The best League player in the world would realize that raging lowers your odds of success, and can even lead to a ban. While I agree that the thread is misguided, I also disagree that "Good" players always rage if they are upset. If you are raging, then you are bad at a core aspect of the game, communication. Well while surfing i did a little research and found out that an average bronze player in a 40m in match spends at least 9 mintues of typing in chat instead of playing.

ye they should just disable it up until plat-diamond.

… I… I'm not sure what research you would use to "measure" that for a "single" person, never mind the average of a full group period.

I've never been in bronze, but I can't fathom the 'average' of 'every' player being to talk for 9 minutes in a 40 minute game. That would mean on average, somebody on each team is talking over 100% of the time.
