His w grants a lot of damage with a support, and he gets full x, and therefore an advantage over the enemy adc at early to mid game. His shield and poke aren't bad, either. Also, ghost dragon control botlane is one of the scariest things I've ever seen.

His playstyle is binary.
If you're in melee range of him you die. His three Qs kill everything that's not full tank.
If you're not in melee range you live and he's fucking useless. He has no damage outside of Q.

yes great design, give double XP for a champ this is weak design, they couldn't find a way for him to be effective and decided to cheat with double exp! just an idiot would call this good design
I personally like that they changed up the bot meta a little. I just think morde's W passive is a cheap way to do it.

I don't think its the best design but they have identified some ways to make melee hard carries able to survive the lane.
