Catalyst of Aeons + Ahri

Passive & Ahri's mana usage + = one of the best item-laner combos in game. I know there is/would be a cap on this but with the new update on this item coming up how useful would this be on Ahri? Would it now become one of Ahri's CORE items? I'd like some thoughts on this if possible, although I do think that it would work REALLY well on Ahri in both sustain in lane and Ahri being able to dish out more dmg
