why even bother playing srsly, if this crap keeps happening ima just afk at game start every time, ban me if u want riot but fix your bloody match making. This does NOT make for a fun game. EVER.
Was this ranked? If so, your MMr is in a really good place and it should be seen as a good thing, not a bad one.
If this was a normal, what's the big deal? Since the ranked rewards got handed out, I've been playing with mostly diamonds-high plat even though I'm a gold 5 scrub. They aren't that much better than golds are if any. If they seem to be so good try to learn from how they play and you'll be fine next time you face one "high-elo overlord".
eventually op will learn that ranked status doesn't mean anything in my experience playing this game I have played people in ranks ranging from bronze 5 to challenger and there have been bronze players that put up a better fight than those higher ranked than my self
Each queue has a separate MMR.
For ranked matchmaking, there's major overlap between the top divisions of a tier (1-2)and the bottom divisions of the next tier (4-5). As a result, anything +/- 2 divisions should be fair.
Unranked games use their own separate MMR.
