Some Hard data on The Current BE System Part 2

Sort of Angry I took an hour to make this post but it ended up not posting

So this is a part 2 to my previous post which delved into the BE Gains from some data I took while leveling up from level 30 to 40. This time I'm taking a look at the BE gains from levels 40 to 50.

So from this set of data I found that Some games (4 out of 10) had IP be greater than BE while the others (6 out of 10) BE was greater than the IP you would have gotten. The difference between these two for the most part was around 200 to 300 which is not too bad of a difference. I also found that the BE for levels 40 to 50 was greater than that gained from 30 to 50. During my 30 to 40 run the average BE per capsule I had 810 BE while in 40 to 50 I was getting 900 on average. I also found that the amount of 1260 capsules increased from my 30 to 40 run from 1 to 2. At the 10 level milestone for both 40 and 50 I found that you gained 2220 BE. In the end the total BE for this 10 level run was greater than the total IP you would have gained having a difference of roughly 2000.

To conclude the longer you take to level up you are more likely to have levels where the old IP system would be better than the new system. However in the end the total BE you would get is greater than the IP you would have gotten. To note the longer you take to level up it is more likely that you will be getting more BE within your capsules. Also you seemed to be guaranteed 2220 BE at the end of every 10 levels.

Regarding glorious capsules:

A Milestone Capsule (every 10 levels) contains champ shards valued at 1,980, 2,160, or 2,220. (The average value is 2,120 based on drop rates)

Thank you for that information. Glad I was sort of correct on this fact.

Your stats are flawed in regards to one thing:

You gain more XP (IP in old system) depending on how long the match goes. So what you would really need to do is find out how long you played in order to level up and get the BE and how much IP you would have gained in that time. Also would have to factor in IP for wins as opposed to IP for losses. Simply factoring in number of matches is not enough.

Thanks for the feedback. For starters I do understand that there is some flaw within my data collecting methods however with the way I did it I tried to eliminate as much of that flaw as possible. I did include a calculator for IP which includes it for wins loses and first wins of the day (Of course this is my own average before the old system ended). So the value you see for IP there includes the the Ip you would have gotten through the wins, loses and first wins of the day which playing through these games. That is also why you see in the chart I included the amount of wins, loses, games I played and first wins of the day so I can use everything to be as accurate as I can be. So for your second point don't worry I already had that included within my data.

Now for time yes that is the best and most accurate way to get the precise values on Ip however not so much the BE since all that we care about is the BE gained at the end of each level. I wish I could calculate the IP using time however I don't have any way to calculate the IP using time and I don't have the time after every match to do so. If these two factors were eliminated than I would definitely have completely accurate data however my data should still show some of the trends people should be seeing.
