(Not) All about Yuumi

Yuumi : You either love her, or you hate her; here's the rundown

**Abilities ** Yuumi's Q: When attached to another champion using her w, her q is a long range movable poke. When by herself it is a short range straight line "skill" shot.

Yuumi's W: easy, an attach to ally champion, unattach, or "hop" champions *take note that Yuumi can be stunned during her W attachment or hop

Yuumi's E: a heal

Yuumi's R: Similar to Sona's R, 3 hits are a root.

"I'm out of mana, now what?" Easy! Detach and auto an enemy champion! Yuumi's passive gives her mana when you auto an enemy champion, but stay in range of your allys because you're squishy.

Pros Good in team fights, (usually) fun to play Easy to learn Good poke range

Cons Unliked by many players Not fun to play against SQUISHY have to be able to latch on fast While many champs can play different lanes Yuumi really only works as a support. Voice lines

Roaming With such a squishy champion, people are hesitant to roam on her. And that's understandable, but sometimes Mid or Top just need a little help. This is why it is important to keep vision on the map, even places you wouldn't expect. Most games I help whichever laner needs it the most. ADC is dominating but mid is struggling? If you don't have the vision to cross river or jungle use b. It is totally ok for supports to help out other lanes when their ADC is fed, doing well, and ok on their own.

Synergy

Yuumi + Sivir These two have great synergy. Between Sivir's E and R, and Yuumi's gameplay they dominate team fights. Sivir is also great at pushing waves and keeping them wherever she wants. When playing a Yuumi with a Sivir ADC you'll want to make sure you have vision, this is due to Sivir's aggressive play style the enemy jungler will try to come for botlane to relieve the pressure. I have yet to discover a better adc for Yuumi.

More Things Yuumi doesn't really need potions. When you get into game you're going to want to grab Spellthief's and the warding trinket you don't need the health potions.

Do NOT go Dark seal first item, you NEED the gold from the support item. Although it is okay to get Dark Seal later on.

CDR is super important on Yuumi, as everything she does is ability, you don't want to wait to wreak havoc on the enemy team.

Make sure you are putting your passive to use. The mana from it is so good as Yuumi runs out of mana fast.

There is a difference between actually playing Yuumi and being Yuumi. Lately I've seen a lot of people go Yuumi, latch, and afk. That is not playing Yuumi. Playing Yuumi involves supporting your teammates, warding, map awareness etc. I'm putting this in here because I will probably get a lot of comments about how "she sucks and doesn't do anything"

Just like when playing any other champion try to keep a positive mind set! Everyone plays better when they aren't discouraged. It's okay if you don't play well or even "suck" at the game, being positive and willing to learn helps so much.

I dislike Yuumi, but mostly not because of gameplay reasons (but I think she might become really hard to balance right in experienced hands).

The biggest reason for my dislike for her is that she doesn't fit in the game aesthetically in my opinion. She looks like a champion from a different game, not something that I would expect from the world which Riot has built up over the years.

Days ago we had a problem between 2 fighting for support role ( wtf ? ) I ended up convincing the guy who locked Yumi to go top vs Mundo

We won with Yumi Top I was Lee Sin With Yuumi I was literally uncatchable She gives MS and While detaching , she can end up to the other side of the wall so I didn't need any wards , literally Perma mobility
