Small Eve Change Suggestion

I've heard a few streamers talking about how Eve is one small buff away from being favored for the Jungle role, and it's often in reference to her Ultimate Cool-Down. They think it should be lowered, not by much, but lowered or reduced with Kills/Assists. I think a small change to her abilities and their interactions under certain conditions, could off-set the Ulti timer, without it being buffed. Evelynn's new CC is fantastic in my opinion, but I think a small thematic change would suit her. The CD reduction doesn't apply if you miss the opening skill-shot Q for her Hate Spikes. I think she should cause a bit more agony, for herself when she misses, or her enemies when she doesn't. Evelynn's Hate Spikes should emerge from the enemy towards Evelynn. Not the other way. It's a very small difference. It should only gain this effect if she lands her skill-shot AND charms the enemy. It's a nice reward, I think. How would this off-set the CD on her Ulti. If you get Rylais on Eve, the AOE of Hate Spikes is useful to slow down enemies in pursuit.

I think it should be altered for that very reason! Doesn't anyone else feel a bit nostalgic at the "run into the shadows and hope your fast enough to disappear" classic Eve scenario? Her thematic goal is target selection, assassination, in and out of fights. Her rework sought to address these things and maintain the idea of the champion. A lot has been improved, but I think she should be given the Hate Spike alteration, because like Kha'zix, isolation is her best-friend. When targeting the enemy back line, short of her Ultimate to escape, the short window to assassinate is fun and takes skill. After failing, but only on the final execution, or fighting without her Ulti to execute, I think the reward should be that Hate Spikes travels from the enemy Eve targeted, and travel to the nearest enemy champion. That's kind of her thematic way of saying, "I found them alone. They will feel alone. In the shadows, they only truly have me for company." It punishes enemies that defy her thematic presence. She hates people that look to support others or thwart her kills. Isn't that reason enough to to cast Hate Spikes from the ally they try to protect? Maybe next time they'll just let her kill them.

Also fix her E. If you use it and lose vision, it doesn't deal damage and goes on CD. I approve this change tho, her ult cd is way too high for an assassin and the Q one is really interesting

OMG! That E thing is killing me. If you're on red side with her, an enemy just has to run to the other side of the bush next to the red buff and she'll stop following all commands. Warded or not! As soon as the get half way through the bush she drops aggro. Grrrrr.... Or when a golem walks into the bush, so she stops and just takes massive damage until you re-target.

I think the Hate Spike change is more interesting for her character more than practicality, because it's pretty damn close to the same thing. I was just thinking of what she says and her lore, and Eve throwing hate spikes behind her rapidly while she's being chased, seems wrong somehow. Ya know? She has a charm. She has that "come hither" swagger. If the spikes came from the charmed enemy champion and shot towards Eve, that single target will have to consider the damage that can be done to their team if they follow too near their teammates. If you want to chase Evelynn, make sure her lover isn't anywhere around!
