two build paths .. you can go the desolated mace build path or the perma slow build path.

an example would be for perma slow rylais, liandries voidstaff into randuins and visage my personal build ( which i havent used for a while) Hextech ludens and lich bane. followed by dead mans and banshees. ( my personal way of buildiing him in fact im going to play him now

I got a few Builds that work really well and I usually adapt depending on what my team needs.

The most foolproof way to play him and by far the most consistent build is something like this though: and as a last item either a tank item, I personally prefer though

Max W->Q->E

Positioning and knowing your limits is key to win with Morde. He's a champ that doesn't require a lot of mechanics but quite some macro.
