How can I help my friend progress her skill in League?

My friend has started playing a couple of months ago, and I've been playing beginner bot games with her. This is the first time she's ever played a game like League, and I realize it's a pretty big learning curve. She's able to do quite well on her own, she knows to last hit minions and constantly keep her champ moving, but still has trouble with other basic stuff such as knowing when she can and can't chase, how much turret damage she can survive through, etc.

Any suggestions on how I can help her improve? Playing the game will obviously help. Should I be forcing her into intermediate bots to put more of a challenge on her, and eventually force her into pvp?

Any tips are greatly appreciated, Thanks.

That will just take time and game knowledge. Id say you should just let her play and she will eventually figure it out.

Oh bby.

In a more serious note, it's kind of a difficult question, the short answer is that there isn't any major shortcuts when it comes to learning the game, learning League takes commitment.

It's a good step that she knows how to last hit, but it's also equally important to know why she has to do it. Should begin learning the general outliers of what every Champion can do (not a small feat considering the huge variety). What each role is and why are they important. When to push when to freeze...etc etc etc. As I said before there isn't any major shortcut, it's play, practice and learn the fundamentals of the game.

Currently there are a LOT of Youtube channels that thrive in teaching players X and Y stuff, and I don't doubt there is a subgenre of those dedicated for new players, but yeah, basically, play a lot.

Teach her how to not feed. You will notice that the higher you climb, the less deaths people will have on average, and the faster the game ends. It's because the best players know how to play safe, and end fast.
