A moment of silence for the map where if you got stomped it ended quickly in 7 minutes or less. A moment of silence for the map where a bronze team could beat a diamond team. A moment of silence for the map where Urgot and Rammus reached permaban status in tournament play. A moment of silence for the map where you could play a custom game and not have to worry about minions ending the game. A moment of silence for the map where you could buy an Oracles Elixir. A moment of silence for the map where you supersize champions. A moment of silence for the map where you could play whatever you wanted, no roles no fighting in champ select. A moment of silence for Crystal Scar the best map ever to grace League of Legends.

I cried a little.
Having calmed down and read the short article explaining why, I can understand the decision. When I started playing league of legends years ago, Dominion was definitely a positive experience for me and helped me to solidify my decision to keep playing this game. Would I have abandoned league of legends like so many other games over the years if it hadn't contained the Dominion component?
Also, my wife hates summoner's rift for some reason I can't understand, but likes ARAM and dominion. I'm sure there are some personalities to which summoner's rift doesn't appeal. What is 0.5% of 32 million players? 160,000 players. I hope rotating game modes every 3-4 months are enough to keep that type of person interested in league of legends.

I never really played the mode before they said they were going to remove it but I figured I'd get a few games in. And its actually pretty fun. Especially singed... Also, rip hide and seek.
Who cares? I get a free icon. Wurf.
This one time, I played regular old Dominion as 
and felt like a piece of shit afterwords due to how unfair he is for the mode.
RIP the .01% of real people that actually play this game mode.
This was a fun and diverse game mode and riot really shouldnt remove it...oh wait. NO ONE CARES!
well, just on the very last day after 3k+ games of Dom i met two guys that taught me a new strategy for the first 3min...just showing how much depth the map had to offer for anyone that would invest in it. Dom sure had a lot more potential than SR, but after what´s happened with SR this season it´s probably for the best Riot never really touched Dom and locked it away when it had been still fun instead of making it horrible.
