I'm telling myself, that ferocity is nice because of his sticking power, Expose Weakness would work great, accumulating his damage with Natural Talent and Battle Trance.
However I'm missing out on Gold and biscuits with Cunning Tree from Bandit and Secret Stash.
What do you guys think?

on Naut support? If so...go CotC, because you want a little more tankyness so you can stand in their face and deal a bit of dmg.
Do you not do those things but actually build shields and things for your adc? Go Thunderlords. The burst is nice, and can be quite unsettling.

why would you get
Because it has stats that work well with him? Naut is slow, and has free on-hit damage. Static Shiv gives movespeed, attackspeed and some upfront burst damage. Plus free crit. Thus it functions like Sunfire or Iceborn in dps enhancer with added utility.
Note: Mostly it gets built by Nauts in ARAM because yolo, but lists work better in 3's.
