Are all the websites we use wrong?
it recently came to my attention that pick rate information for https://www.leagueofgraphs.com goes up to the theoretical 200% , but this is not accurately represented with draft pick involved (which is the format ranked uses) Their pick rate information appears to count champion pick rate / 200 , but keeps the champion pick rate as the counted amount instead of dividing
this inaccurately represents the average pick rate information which should be half of that number
https://lolalytics.com/ranked/worldwide/platinum/plus/home/ or lolalytics appears to use the same formula
that does not make the other websites unaccountable either.
https://champion.gg appears to use the correct pick rate format, but its ban rate information is so heavily skewed that it appears to simply divide the champion's total ban rate percentage by 10 to account for all players, but that does not represent the actual ban rate percentage per match. If yasuo is banned in 50% of matches but only banned by one of the players, that would come to a 5% ban rate by their method
https://na.op.gg/champion/statistics accurately represents the ban data, yet in its tooltip for champion information, it clearly states that it does not use information from regions other than Korea . This is confusing, especially when their numbers are largely different from the averages of other websites that let you compare by region (such as comparing korean data)
Can anyone offer a truly accurate website?
