200 cs by 20 min...

I have been attempting to hit this mark and failing. I have been told countless times that if I can consistently hit 200 cs by 20 min then I can climb out of silver. However, in silver your opponent's number one priority is poking you. In a good game I might manage 120 cs at 20 min but 200? How is this possible? Is this just a low elo problem? Like in higher elo do player normally just allow each other to cs?

LOL who told you 200 cs by 20 minutes? obviously doesn't have silver expectations. Tell you what: 140 cs is the best i can do in platinum by 20 minutes. At least usually i can. I main adc btw so i have to deal with 2x the poke. It is doable for 140 but it still pushes you. CS > kills early, but kills > CS late game if that makes sense. just focus on your csing and abuse the meta :)

it's not possible , even in lcs they barely reach 170 , I barely reach 150 , acctually 150 is so good for me , usually we have to roam and stuff

200 by 20 minutes is a reasonable goal of your playing a strong wave clear champion.

Multi-tasking ain't easy. To be able to get the timing and kill every single minion, avoid pokes, and do a reasonable amount of harass yourself, you either have to something like platninum or higher, or just be born Korean.

Either way, it just comes down to more and more practice.

I think my biggest problem is that I want to main Ahari mid... cs'ing is rough business on her. I mean I use to be able to spec my runes to help me out but now I just suck at it.

Depends on how much lane pressure you have.

Ahri vs Anivia? You better have AT LEAST have 180 @ 20 minutes. 200 is definitely possible and should be your goal.

Ahri vs Fizz? 160 and not dying is a good goal, 180 is doable if you play well.

The biggest factor in cs'ing early game is wave management and maintaining a smart position even while farming. Mid game you need to be making rotations for farm instead of running mid with 3 other people.

While I am only silver and cant manipulate waves at even a beginner level, I know its the main way you are going to be able to hit your marks. By keeping the opponent of your cs it lets you focus on farming

They're probably telling you to improve your CS because if you've more gold than the other guy you're more likely to beat them. That's going with you and your opponent are of equal skill. In simpler terms learning how to create a lead for yourself. Closing out games is also something that you have to learn to do. When you combine the two you will start to climb.

i don't follow the 200 cs by 20 minutes i usually just keep it simple to out cs the other guy when i played other roles that weren't support that is
