Why is Riot rewarding early-game comps and punishing late game comps?
Just read the part about patch 2.23 rolling out
> Closeouts - Keep your momentum going and finish strong: minion health and movement speed scale much higher later in the game, meaning teams with a clear lead will spend less time stalled out by enemy wave clear or waiting for Baron buff for the final push
So many of my games this season have been won by the enemy having "a clear lead", but my team being able to turtle and stall the game for 40 minutes with our wave clear when 3 sets of baroned up double supers are rolling in.
Why should we get punished? Why should we "deserve to lose" (According to Riot's eyes)? When the early game team comp fall off late game and has zero wave clear late game, it's strategy to draft late game wave clear.
Has "strategy" completely gone out of this game?
