Question about filling out an explanation in your report

Since Reports are automatic via instant feedback, does this mean that the paragraph you write in your report is not considered?

Do you reports that don't have explanations receive just as many punishments as reports with explanations?

What about including screenshot links in an explanation? The system has no way of checking those right?

What happens if you report 2 people for breaking rules in a single game, and continue doing this for 30 consecutive games. Does your report no longer hold any quality/merit and will the system not deem it as "authentic" thus not issue a punishment?

How does the system prevent spam reports? You know, the people who report every single player in every single game even when those players haven't broken any rules. How does that work?

Just ticking a box sends it to a not. Writing an explanation increases the chances of the report to be seen by a Riot employee.

well i can tell you at least this much, even if you behave, if a person decides to report you for the most ridiculous reasons, it counts and can get you perma banned since it's automatic with no real person reviewing anything before the punishment is given, speaking from experience.

i dont know much about that but i think writing something in the box is only useful when riot manually reviews it. so yea. tbh it would be nice from someone (tantram) to clear this up.

You bring up some pretty interesting questions.

I don't know how comments factor into a punishment.

You'd have to submit a support ticket for a screenshot. But they have all of that information.

Report weight used to be a thing. It no longer is. You can report anyone every time. It will not affect whether or not a person is punished. But that does raise something interesting: does a report flag only things that were said to you? That I'm not sure of.
